busy

Busy packing, busy worrying, busy trying to remember all the things I need to get done before we leave... but somehow, the last week has been one of the most challenging and rewarding...a reminder of what is truly important.

I have been extra tired, cranky, and impatient....Hunter has been extra clingy, whiny, and particular. Yet, in those rare quiet moments, I am amazed at what a little blessing Hunter is...and I am so grateful that the Lord has entrusted him to us. I am humbled that God would trust me, flawed and worn, with such precious cargo...

10 months and counting...

Hunter turned 10 mos a few days ago and while I can hardly believe I am going to have a 1 year old in less than 2 months, I am trying desperately to remember and appreciate each moment that passes. I can't believe how quickly time is ticking away.

We went to our last Charlotte Knights baseball game with Shane, Amie & Gannon (cousins). Hunter loves to go to the games and watch all the people. He also LOVES his cousin Gannon. We are really going to miss them. As usual, I forgot my camera. Seems that every time we go I don't remember to put the camera in the bag! Oh well. Just imagine...cuteness :)

We are keeping busy packing up the house and striving for sanity. Hunter has been extremely clingy and it seems impossible to accomplish much of anything unless he is napping. The official countdown has begun...we will be leaving Charlotte on September 8th to make our cross-country trip one last time. The 25+ hour drive will be long (especially now that Hunter is so busy) but we will look forward to what awaits us on the other side!

And now for a few pics...

"Don't look at me, you're the one that forgot to put the gate up..."

"Here I am!"

"Ummm, I know I am not suppose to be on this thing but I think I'm stuck..."
