an adventure

While these crazy kids went golfing...

Hunter and I decided to go on an adventure.

South Fork is loaded with fancy schmancy (don't ask) homes but they are also loaded with lots of old, abandoned, worn-down houses and barns...the kind that make for great photos.

I was really excited to take Hunter to an old house we found and to the barn outside the clubhouse. We got some cute pics but I got a little paranoid after awhile and invisioned nasty rats and dangerous diseases lurking around.

Hey, I've never claimed to be a country girl. :)

Hunter and I didn't last long but we did manage to have some fun and get a few pictures of our adventure.

Here's a pic of the old house I loved. I intended on getting some neat photographs of it's worn-out doors, windows, and interior but I got spooked shortly after we started taking pictures and we jumped back in the car and headed to the barn.

Hunter wasn't into the photos so he just ignored me...something he is getting pretty good at.

The only reason he looked up at me for the next two shots is because I told him there were airplanes in the sky. He hearts "airpains".

This is Hunter's face when he realized his mommy is a big liar. oops.

Am I ruining the photos for you? Background info sometimes does that. sorry.

Moving on to the barn...

These are just cute. I won't ruin them. :)

There could be a dozen more posts on our mini "vaca" but I won't bore you much longer. I should probably move on...get back to reality...blog about our everyday...but can't I just stay there (in my mind) for a little longer? Pretty please?

dandelions

The meadows were COVERED with them.

At first, Hunter wasn't really sure what to do with them...

He tried sniffing them like a flower but that tickled his nose...

Daddy showed him how to blow the dandelion so that it would fly all around...

Hunter loved it and was very intrigued.

He couldn't quite figure out the blowing part though. He kept blowing with his nose. Guess he figured that's how you do it. Afterall, we do say "BLOW your nose."

Cute.

We made sure there would be dandelions around for a long time.

:)
