easter day
Easter morning we came downstairs to a few goodies and then headed off to church.
I totally failed at taking pictures that day. I was tired and didn't want to drag my camera around any more.
That's that.
Easter 2010.
Now that I'm caught up I can go to bed...
Big day tomorrow.
Baby boy will be on his way!
God willing, the next post should be a proper introduction!
Until then, I will leave you with my ONLY belly pic (kind of depressing)...thanks, sis, for making sure I at least had one :)
The service was great and I was brought to tears just thinking about how blessed we are and what a sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf.
I am so thankful that He is ALIVE, INDEED!
After church we all went to visit with Great Papa.
The rest of the day we relaxed and celebrated with family.
It was perfect.

the hunt
A few pictures from Hunter and Sawyer's Easter egg hunt.
Love the picture below. They were closing their eyes while we hid the eggs. They peaked about every second.
This was the first year Hunter understood the egg hunt and he would get sooooo excited each time he found one.
Hunter was very excited about the candy inside but he had just as much fun playing with the plastic eggs.
Who wouldn't?
Especially with a Nana and Papa that look like this...

We got together at my sister & brother-in-laws new house and made easter eggs with Nana & Papa, and all the kiddos the day before Easter. My brother came from Denver with Mackenzie and Braden to celebrate easter a little early and we had so much fun dying eggs and getting creative!
Hunter wasn't real sure what to think about coloring easter eggs but his cousin Mackenzie patiently showed him what to do and before we knew it he was dropping them into every color.

from the crib...
Hunter woke up this morning and was talking in his crib, laughing, and playing...
I decided to enjoy the last few sips of my coffee (don't worry, mom, it was decaf) before getting him.
Pretty soon I hear...
"Mommy! Ohhhhhhh Mommy!!! Are you comin' to get me????"
(PAUSE)
"Mommy??"
(PAUSE)
"LAURA!!! Come here peas (please)!!"
hahahahaha.
I love him.
