Bath Time Blunders

Hunter has finally outgrown his sink bath tub. So, like any other responsible parents, we have continued to bathe him in it! For his enjoyment, and ours, we keep shoving him in the little aparatus hoping we can get just a few more baths out of it. For pure convenience it makes our lives a lot easier and REALLY...how bad can it be??? He gets to splash water EVERYWHERE, play with a floating duck and read a book!

High Chair Happiness

Great Nana bought a high chair for Hunter and he LOVES to sit in it to eat...in fact, he loves to just sit in it. It has become his favorite chair, forsaking all others, even the infamous "bouncy chair!" The tides are changing!

Catching up...

I haven't been very good about blogging lately. Things have been a little crazy here! I will start with some cute 6 months pics of Hunter. He was a ham that day giving me all his genuine smiles and displaying his new trick...getting up on all four and rocking back and forth.

6 Months!

It's hard to believe that Hunter will be 6 months old this weekend. As you can see, he keeps us entertained with his adorable smile and new milestones. He is sitting up all by himself and getting on all fours and "rocking" back and forth...let's hope we still have a FEW more months before he starts crawling! He loves Cassie (our dog) and laughs hysterically at her whenever she comes anywhere close to him. Michael and I are doing well...we are really missing Colorado and all of our friends and family there. As much as we have tried to make North Carolina home, I am afraid Colorado will always be true "home" for us. God has been very faithful to us here though and we welcomed Shane & Amie (Laura's cousin) and their almost 3 year old son, Gannon, to the area. They are living about 10 minutes from us and it has been wonderful to have some family close by! Hope you all are well!! Drop us an e-mail and stay in touch!

SQUASH!!!! EWWW!

Hunter had his first real food today after becoming very bored with baby cereal. I introduced squash and couldn't stop laughing after Hunter took bite after bite. He would make a disgusted face, squint his eyes really tight, shake his head and make his whole body convulse...THEN he would look at me, swallow, and open his mouth WIDE for the next bite and smile :)

Highlights from February

Hunter is 4 months old tomorrow (Wednesday) and full of personality. He is holding up his head and loves to play in his exersaucer (thanks to Grandma Judy). He has found his hands and can't keep them out of his mouth! We made a quick trip to Atlanta to see grandpa and Nana Burt. They were there for a conference and we were able to see them over the weekend. Hunter has been so much fun lately and each day we fall more and more in love with him. Hope you enjoy some highlights from his 3rd month!
