Michael's 27th birthday was September 3rd and we celebrated by taking a day trip to the North Carolina mountains! We went to a place called Grandfather Mountain and shopped around a cute little town called Blowing Rock. Grandfather Mountain features a mile high swinging footbridge and is surrounded by the beautiful peaks of the Southern Appalachians. Unfortunately, when we finally got to the bridge it was so foggy that we could harldy see a few feet in front of us! BUMMER! We still managed to enjoy our little getaway, despite the weather.

For everyone wanting to see what I look like HUGE and pregnant, you can get a glimpse of my big belly in the photo of Michael and I. I had just begun my 9th month in this picture. We are down to about 3 1/2 weeks and I am counting the days! Keep checking in for baby news and pictures...hopefully coming soon!
