tanner {3 months}

At 3 months old you are so smiley when people talk to you and still a little grumpy in the evenings.

You can change your disposition in an instant. Smiling and laughing one minute and screaming the next. Although exhausting, I like your personality...I think it may be a little like mine :)


You've been talking, cooing, and giggling a lot lately. We LOVE it. You are very ticklish, especially under your right arm. One of my favorite things is when your whole body smiles. Even your toes curl when you get really excited.

You love to sleep with a blanket touching your face. It scares us to death and we think you might suffocate but it's the only way you will fall asleep and it calms you in an instant.

You are sleeping 7-9 hours at night...most nights. Every now and then you throw us a curve ball to keep us on our toes.

Your big brother loves to say "good morning" and "hi" to you and even gives you sweet little kisses. I'm almost positive you say "hi" back to him.

You have started to grab ahold of your toes (something your big brother could never do because he was such a little chunk) and you have already rolled over twice (pretty sure they were both unintentional).

You haven't been paid near the amount of attention your brother was and sometimes I feel really bad about that. It doesn't seem to bother you though and you seem to love us just the same.

If it's any consolation, you are a lot more spoiled than Hunter ever was. He was very scheduled and when he fell asleep we almost always put him down. I hold you often and many times you take your entire nap in my arms. This time around, I think I know how quickly it all changes.

When you light up and smile we always do the same.

We are so very thankful for you, Tanner.
