power of prayer

So I will try to make this as concise as possible...we are supposed to be closing on our house in North Carolina September 19th and everything was smooth sailing until a few days ago when we got the appraisal. Unfortunately, the appraisal came in well below the sale price and everything seems to be falling apart. Earlier today it looked as though we were going to have to back out. Our agent has been talking directly with the buyers lender and said that he has never worked with such rude, pompous, arrogant people in his entire career. Apparently, this bank is offering the buyers a great interest rate and our agent thinks that they have overpromised and can't deliver and are literally trying to sabotage the closing. The good news is that the buyers are also getting frustrated and are going to look for another lender tomorrow. Michael comes to NC tomorrow morning and we had planned to finish packing in the next few days to leave for Colorado. We are now in limbo as we wait to see if we are going to have to put the house back on the market again. Please pray with us that the buyers would move forward with finding another lender, the appraisal would come in at the sales price, and that we can hold this deal together! We know the Lord is in control either way but we would sure love to be able to move forward together and close this chapter so that we can settle quickly and smoothly in Colorado. (Side note - we are also trying to close on a house in CO the SAME DAY as our scheduled closing in NC...if the NC closing falls through, we lose the house in CO too) I'll keep you updated!
